Class of 1976 has another tragic loss for 2020, Carol McManus passed away August 28, 2020 from complications of Covid. Carol’s daughter said it was rather unexpected. She said, “She had Covid-19 and spent 12 days at UTMB, trying to regulate her oxygen levels. She was not on oxygen at all prior to Covid. She returned home to begin slowly weaning off the oxygen. She was never able to. We are heartbroken, but so fortunate that she returned home so we could spend a few more days with her.” Carol’s daughter, son-in-law and two grandchildren are missing her greatly in their daily lives.
