Had some crazy times with Richard , May have been the best looking dude in our class . Richard just loved to party and have a good time . Part of our Snack Shack crowd !
Not sure but I almost forgot, Richard had a friend that worked for Pace Concerts. So during our senior and following year we got to do concert security for all the concerts that came to Houston . So we got front row seats to some major bands during those years . Stones, The Who, Dobbie Brothers, Robin Trower, Jethro Tull, Bad Company, Foghat and even the Commadors . I know crazy right. Good times for sure. RIP
I ran with Richard quite a bit our junior and senior year. We, along with Roger Rowe made some serious road trips, mainly to our deer lease in the Hill Country (and maybe a few side trips into Mexico). As we all got along with our lives we lost contact until about 2009 or so and we re-connected. Richard was teaching in a small town outside of Waco as I recall. We were talking about meeting and catching up and just never got around to doing it. A year or so later Richard was taken from us. I regret not making a better effort to make time for an old friend. If nothing else, I could have shown him how well the scar on my forehead has healed since he was the one who put it there!
